I usually set one boy down in the bathroom while I go get the other before starting baths. I came in this day to find Caleb peering into the tub. It was just the beginning of exploration!

After posting all the birthday pictures I never posted pictures from the boys'12th month. March was a month of many changes. It seemed like I was writing something on their "firsts" calendar everyday! Jacob and Caleb explored their world in new ways. They started pulling up on EVERYthing, got their first tooth, ate mostly regular food, and began facing forward in the car seat. The week before their birthday each boy started to crawl, and I put up the indoor fence!

First Birthday Party - Take 2

Yesterday we celebrated Jacob and Caleb's first birthday again! We had a party with both the Jolly and Reed families in NC. (Most of you reading this were probably there.) We enjoyed the beautiful spring weather on GrandJan and Papa's new porch. The boys had fun eating caterpillar cupcakes, playing with their cousins, and being passed around. Thanks for making our first birthday a very special one!

Now why do people always say I have my hands full?

On the boys actual birthday we went downtown to Forsyth Park. We wanted pictures of Jacob and Caleb in the city where they spent their first year of life. They were very interested in the scenery and crawling and dirt and mulch and leaves... but we got a few good shots. After the photo shoot we went to Longhorn's for their birthday dinner. The boys had their first taste of steak. YUM!
